Day 2 & 3 – A really big city and Disneyland

On Monday, we arrived after an 10 hour flight with a Dreamliner 787, which was great and relaxing. Norwegian Airline is really good for a cheap price. They even showed the new Star Wars Movie.

But we were really exhausted after the flight, so we just wanted to get to our AirBnB-Host. The problem: Our apartment was 50km away from the airport, but it looked near on the map. So we had to order an Uber (or this time a Lyft) and let us drive to the apartment.

It’s really warm these days in L.A., so it’s hard to sleep at night, but we could manage to get some sleep and enough rest for the next day. We started with an breakfast at IHOP, which was, let’s say “okay”. After this we did not know what to do, because we would get our rental next day.

So we decided to go to Disneyland :). It was the first time for me in an park like this and it was awesome, I would have never expected such a cool experience. Disneyland has some really cool rides, my favorite one is the “Indiana Jones Adventure”.

In the evening we’ve seen a great parade and a gigantic firework, so it was a good day. It was just a bit strange for us, that they played the US anthem and everyone was singing with their hand on their heart. But, that’s probably normal for American people. After spending like 11 hours at Disneyland we just fell asleep. Let’s see what the next days will bring us.
